Dinner and a Show: Sleepy Hollow Golf Club is hosting a Valentine's Day Murder Mystery Dinner titled, "A Murderous Match Game." Step back in time with this hilarious rendition featuring the celebrities you loved back in the early 1970's! Open to club members and the public. Tickets are $43 per person. Purchase tickets HERE.
Valentine’s Day AND Anti-Valentine’s Day Party with Live Music: Whether you’re celebrating a night with your loved one or going out with friends, Mountain Pie Company in Hurricane invites you to visit on Valentines Day for two special parties! Inside you’ll find an Anti Valentines party with black decor and black balloons covering the ceiling. They’ll have lovey décor on the heated patio too complete with pink and red balloons covering the ceiling. Live music will start at 6 and last until 8. The musicians will be moving between both sections to sing “love stinks” blues and romantic love songs. MPC will feature several amazing homemade desserts, several new dishes, and pick two options. As always they’ll be serving their famous sangria.
Pasta Bar, Chocolate Fondue Fountain, and Live Music: If pasta and chocolate are your love language, then you’ll want to visit the Italian Grille for Valentines Day! They’ll be hosting a Valentine’s Day Pasta Bar ($14.95/person) with Chocolate Fondue Fountain from 4pm to close. The menu includes a build your own pasta bar, spaghetti marinara with penne, baked spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna, linguini alfredo with chicken, linguini Mediterranean, assorted pizza, and MANY options at the chocolate fondue bar for dessert. Joe hunt performs love songs live from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
Main Street Shopping, Dinner, & Milkshakes: If you start your evening early, enjoy a stroll through the shops on Main Street! Shops like Hidden Creek Mercantile, Bear Wood Company, and Oodles are open until 6pm. Then head to Books and Brews for a scrumptious flatbread pizza for dinner or warm your heart and your hands with coffee or hot cocoa (open till 8:30pm). They have a nice area for kids to sit and play, and a yummy kids menu if you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with children in tow. Is your special someone a big fan of BBQ or burgers? Then they'll love a mouthwatering dinner at Mountain Que (open until 8:00pm). They are offering two special burger deals this week, including the Hunk-a-Hunk of Burnin' Love Burger, topped with a spicy deep fried mac and cheese heart, sautéed onions and jalapeño, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and drizzled with their signature BBQ ranch. If sharing a milkshake for two sounds sweet to you, then you must consider My Bella on Main Street (open until 8pm). Try one of their photo-worthy over the top milkshakes! Gifts for a Good Cause: If you want to show your love by supporting a great local cause, consider surprising someone you love with tickets for a local charity event! Surprise a Mom with tickets for her and a friend to attend the 2018 Mom Prom which is a special evening for Moms to get dressed up, have fun, and make memories for a local children's cause (this year proceeds raise funds for Putnam County Libraries' Children's Programs).
